Finding your site on the map

The quickest way to start is to find your site on the map and trace over the aerial photo. Airship calibrates the drawing to real-world scale for you.

Search a postcode or address

In the Site, survey & scale section, type a postcode or address into the search box and press Find. Pick the best match and the map jumps to it.

Aerial or street imagery

Use the imagery selector to switch between aerial (satellite) and street (map) tiles, and the zoom control to move between wider context and close detail. Aerial is best for tracing an existing site; street is useful for context and road names.

Search resolution

The Resolution setting (top of Site information & stats) controls how finely the generator works — higher resolution packs more precisely but takes a little longer. The default suits most sites.
