Turning heads & junctions
The Turning & junctions section controls how streets meet and how dead-ends terminate, so refuse and emergency vehicles can turn.

The settings
| Setting | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Hammerhead | The turning-head style at cul-de-sac ends. Airship adds these automatically to dead-end streets. |
| Turning arm | The length of the turning-head arms β size to the design vehicle (e.g. a refuse truck). |
| Entry throat | The length of the straight "throat" where the site meets the existing road at the entrance. |
| Kerb radius | The radius of kerbs at junctions β larger radii for easier turns, tighter for slower speeds. |
Automatic. You don't place turning heads yourself β the generator adds them wherever a street dead-ends, using these values. Adjust the numbers and regenerate to change them.
