Road geometry: bends & alignment
The Road geometry section shapes the character of the streets β from dead-straight to gently meandering.

The settings
| Setting | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Bend amplitude | How far streets deflect from straight. 0 keeps roads straight; higher values give gentle curves. Curves cost a few plots, so raise it for character, lower it for density. |
| Bend wavelength | How long each bend is β short for frequent curves, long for lazy sweeps. |
| Max straight | The longest straight run allowed before the generator introduces a bend or junction (a traffic-calming idea from Manual for Streets). |
| Align to shape | Nudges the street grid to follow the site outline rather than a fixed compass angle. |
Tip. You can also bend any individual road by hand after generating β select it and drag its spline handles. See Roads, paths & driveways.
