House types
The generator places houses from your house-type palette. Each type has a footprint and a target share of the mix, so you control both the product and the density.
The types list
The House types section lists the types in the current project. Each has a name, a footprint (width × depth) and a mix weight — the proportion of that type the generator aims for. The result mix in the stats panel shows how close the layout came.
Adding a type
Use Add type to create a new one, or open the house builder to design a bespoke house — footprint, storeys, roof, windows, doors, garage and drive — and add it to the palette.
Tip. To bias a scheme towards larger detached homes, raise their mix weight and lower the terraces; regenerate to see the new balance. The Refit houses button re-places houses on the existing roads without redrawing the streets.
